How to make a Top 5 video
A Top 5 video ranks five things and counts down from number five to number one, saving the surprise for the end. In Ginvid you choose the Top 5 type and name the subject; it writes a countdown with a concrete reason for each entry, gives every entry its own picture and puts captions on the voice. You read and change the list before anything is made.

What the Top 5 type is
Top 5 is one of Ginvid's video types. It shapes the script: the first sentence says what the list ranks and teases number one, the entries are spoken as "Number five", "Number four" and so on, and each gets one specific reason it belongs on the list. Number one gets the most time, and the video ends with a line inviting a comment.

What to write
- A subject that has a real ranking: "The five strangest animals in the deep sea".
- Optionally a direction: the tone, the audience, or entries you want to include.
- For a different number, ask for it in the idea (a top 10) and choose a length that fits it.
What Ginvid does
It writes the countdown and a narrator reads it. Each entry gets an AI image or a motion clip; with the Motion look on, which adds 1 credit per started minute, every rank is drawn on screen. Captions follow each word. A Top 5 can be a vertical Short of up to 3 minutes or a landscape video of up to 7.
Steps
- Open the Video page and choose Top 5.
- Write the subject in one line.
- Read the script, check each entry and change the order or a line.
- See the price and press Make. A 30-second Short starts at 1 credit.
Check before you post
- A script written from an idea comes from what the AI knows. Check names, dates and numbers, or turn on the web search setting, which reads up on the topic first for about 1 credit.
- A ranking is an opinion unless it has a source. Say in the video or the description what it is based on.
Try it
Opens the Video page with the Top 5 type and a subject filled in. Plans from $39 a month.
