Terms of Service

1. The service

Ginvid creates and edits short-form videos from material or instructions you provide. AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete or similar to other output. You must review every script, image, caption and finished video before publishing it.

2. Your account

Ginvid is for adults: you must be 18 or older to create an account or use Ginvid. You must provide accurate account information, protect your sign-in credentials and have legal capacity to enter this agreement. If you use Ginvid for an organisation, you confirm that you may bind it. You are responsible for activity under your account.

3. Your content and rights

You keep your rights in content you upload and in your lawful use of downloaded output. You give us a limited licence to host, copy, analyse, transform and transmit that content only as needed to provide, secure and improve the requested service. You must have all permissions needed for people, voices, music, footage, brands and other material you submit or publish. Ginvid does not grant rights to third-party material.

4. Acceptable use

Do not use Ginvid for unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive or abusive activity; to violate privacy, publicity, copyright or other rights; to exploit or sexualise minors; to create non-consensual intimate or impersonation content; to spread malware; or to bypass safety, access or billing controls. In Photos, add photos only of yourself or of someone who has agreed to it: never of a child or a public figure, and never to deceive, harass or embarrass anyone, such as documents, tickets, endorsements or anything presented as proof. Have a real person talk on camera only if it is you, or they agreed to say what the video says: never words that would mislead viewers about what someone really said or believes. We may delete such pictures and suspend the account that made them. When you publish a realistic picture or clip of a person made with AI, say that it was made with AI where the law requires it, and do not remove the marks in the file that say so. We may refuse generation, remove content, suspend access or preserve evidence where reasonably necessary to protect users, the service or comply with law.

5. Subscriptions, credits and prices

Prices, billing intervals and the included credits are shown before checkout. Subscriptions renew for the selected monthly or yearly interval until cancelled. A plan's credits are granted for its billing period: each renewal replaces the plan credits left unused from the period before with the new period's credits, so unused plan credits do not roll over. A change to a cheaper plan, or from yearly to monthly billing, takes effect at the next renewal. You can cancel from My account; access continues through the paid period, no renewal follows, and the credits in your balance when the plan ends remain usable: when a plan ends without another plan replacing it, the plan credits left become top-up credits, which are never replaced by a renewal, including the first one of a plan you choose later. One-time top-up credits are never replaced by a renewal and do not expire while the account remains active. Credits are not cash, cannot be transferred and are consumed according to the price shown before you approve a generation or edit. AI assistance outside a video — chat messages with the producer, script drafts and rewrites, script checks, web research, idea lists and pictures made outside a video — uses a small amount of credits as it is used, measured from the AI work each step required. The studio shows what each step cost and your balance as you go. A step that fails is not charged. Web research that Autopilot does for a scheduled video is charged the same way, once the video is finished.

Invite a friend. Each account has a personal invite link. When someone creates a new account through it and then pays for a plan, that account receives 30 credits, once. The link counts only for an account created through it, never for one that already existed or had paid, and only a plan payment counts, not buying credits or making videos with them. The account that invited them receives 30 credits too, for at most 10 invited accounts in a calendar month. If a payment the invited account made before it received the credits is refunded in full or disputed, the invitation credits of both accounts are taken back, as far as they are still in the balance. They are one-time credits under the rules above. Ginvid may end the offer for new invitations at any time, and may withhold or remove invitation credits gained by abuse, such as invitations between accounts set up to collect them.

6. Delivery, storage and failed work

Generation times are estimates. Project files are normally available for 30 days from project creation and are then deleted automatically, including edited versions. Explicitly saved projects are kept for 30 days from the first save, up to 25 saved projects per account; edits and repeated saves do not extend that date. You are responsible for downloading work before the displayed deadline. If a chargeable generation fails and you start over, the service restores the reserved credits as described in the product. Provider outages, safety refusals or unsupported inputs can prevent delivery.

7. Cancellation, refunds and withdrawal

The Refund and Cancellation Policy forms part of these terms. It does not limit any mandatory consumer right. Subscription cancellation is available directly in My account and does not remove existing credits. If a payment is refunded, the credits it bought are taken back, up to the balance left, and a refunded plan does not renew. If we suspend an account, its plan is set not to renew, so it is not charged again.

8. Availability and changes

We may maintain, change or discontinue features and third-party models. We aim to keep paid functionality available but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. Material changes to these terms apply prospectively and will be communicated where required.

9. Liability

Nothing excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded. To the extent permitted by law, Ginvid is not liable for indirect loss, lost profit, lost audience, publication decisions, third-party claims caused by your content, or loss caused by failing to download a project before its stated deletion time. Consumer statutory remedies remain unaffected.

10. Publishing to YouTube, TikTok, Facebook and Instagram

You can connect your own YouTube channel and publish finished videos to it from the studio. Ginvid uses YouTube API Services for this, and by publishing you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. You decide what is published and are responsible for it, including its title, description, visibility and whether it is made for kids. If you switch on Publish to YouTube by itself in a channel, its Autopilot publishes each new video for you with the choices you confirmed there, without asking again: those videos are published by you as well, and you can switch it off at any time. How the connection is handled is described in the Privacy Policy; you can disconnect at any time.

You can also connect a TikTok account and send finished videos to your TikTok drafts. Nothing is posted until you post it yourself in the TikTok app, and your use of TikTok is governed by TikTok's Terms of Service. How that connection is handled is described in the Privacy Policy.

You can also connect with Facebook and post pictures, clips and videos to the Facebook Pages you choose and to the professional Instagram accounts linked to them, now or at a time you choose; Ginvid publishes each post at its time. Each file says it was made with AI, and you choose whether Instagram shows its AI label; Facebook and Instagram may label a post by themselves. You decide what is posted and are responsible for it, and your use of Facebook and Instagram is governed by Facebook's Terms of Service and Instagram's Terms of Use. How that connection is handled is described in the Privacy Policy.

11. Governing law

Swedish law applies, without removing mandatory protections you have as a consumer in your country of residence. Disputes should first be sent to support so we can try to resolve them. Consumers may also use the competent consumer dispute body or courts available under applicable law.
