BROWSER STORAGE
Cookie Policy
Ginvid uses storage needed to sign you in, secure the service and keep your work moving between pages. It sets no advertising or tracking cookies.
Last updated: 3 November 2026
1. Strictly necessary cookies
Authentication cookies keep you signed in and protect account-only pages. Security and anti-abuse services may set short-lived cookies or similar tokens to distinguish legitimate requests from automated abuse. These are necessary to provide the service and cannot be switched off through a Ginvid preference panel.
2. Local and session storage
Your browser may remember an unfinished studio draft, an idea you typed on Ginvid's pages before signing in (kept for that tab), the current project, checkout return information, session-only editing credentials and the code of a friend's invite link that brought you, which it keeps for that tab until your sign-up takes it, you sign in, or the tab is closed. This prevents your choices from disappearing during navigation. Everything kept for the tab is cleared when you sign out, from the studio or from My account, or when the tab is closed; project references can remain until replaced or cleared.
3. Payments and external pages
When you open Stripe Checkout or the Stripe billing portal, Stripe applies its own cookies and privacy terms on its domain. Google sign-in and security challenges can likewise use provider storage when you choose or trigger those services.
4. Visitor statistics and no advertising cookies
Ginvid counts page visits with Plausible Analytics, which sets no cookies, stores nothing on your device and does not track you across sites or build a profile of you. Ginvid does not use third-party advertising cookies or cross-site behavioural tracking.
5. No partner referral cookie
Ginvid's partner programme with Rewardful ended in November 2026. Ginvid no longer asks about or sets a partner referral cookie, and Rewardful is not loaded. A choice you made earlier may still be remembered in your browser; it does nothing, and you can clear it by clearing this site's data.
6. Your controls
You can remove Ginvid cookies and site data in your browser settings. Removing necessary storage signs you out and may discard an unfinished draft. Browser controls can also block storage, but account and checkout features may then stop working.
