Cookie Policy

Ginvid currently uses only storage needed to sign you in, secure the service and keep your work moving between pages.

1. Strictly necessary cookies

Authentication cookies keep you signed in and protect account-only pages. Security and anti-abuse services may set short-lived cookies or similar tokens to distinguish legitimate requests from automated abuse. These are necessary to provide the service and cannot be switched off through a Ginvid preference panel.

2. Local and session storage

Your browser may remember an unfinished studio draft, the current project, checkout return information and session-only editing credentials. This prevents your choices from disappearing during navigation. Session-only data is cleared when you sign out or close the relevant session; project references can remain until replaced or cleared.

3. Payments and external pages

When you open Stripe Checkout or the Stripe billing portal, Stripe applies its own cookies and privacy terms on its domain. Google sign-in and security challenges can likewise use provider storage when you choose or trigger those services.

4. No advertising cookies

Ginvid does not currently use third-party advertising cookies or cross-site behavioural tracking. If optional analytics or marketing cookies are introduced, this policy and the consent controls will be updated before they are used where consent is required.

5. Your controls

You can remove Ginvid cookies and site data in your browser settings. Removing necessary storage signs you out and may discard an unfinished draft. Browser controls can also block storage, but account and checkout features may then stop working.
